Hello Hello! It's a pleasure to e-meet you. Interested in learning more about me? Well, allow me to entertain you with a not-so-brief introduction. My name is Yehia, and when I'm not immersed in being your friendly neighborhood naturopath, I enjoy discovering new coffee spots, playing soccer, engaging in board games, going on hikes with friends, and connecting with my local community to savor life's diverse experiences.
My love for nature is profound, and you might catch me occasionally gazing out of windows, appreciating life's little wonders. This practice helps me approach each day mindfully, sowing positive thoughts as seeds of happiness and nurturing them throughout my day to day life.

Originally from Iraq, I was born and raised in Dubai before moving to Canada, where I completed my undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at York University, with a thesis in gene editing. Subsequently, I pursued naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Why naturopathic medicine? I was inspired by the personalized and holistic care of the past, where practitioners knew their patients deeply and tailored treatments accordingly. In today's fast-paced world, I believe it's crucial to pause, prioritize health, and nurture ourselves in the present to shape a vibrant future. I aim to blend traditional wisdom with modern insights to cultivate holistic well-being.
My journey with health challenges like IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and Idiopathic Craniofacial Erythema (chronic blushing) has deeply influenced my path in naturopathic medicine. IBS brought forth abdominal pain and irregular bowel movements during stressful university periods, even prompting an emergency visit suspecting an inflamed appendix. Through personalized dietary adjustments, stress management, and targeted supplementation, I addressed triggers, enhanced gut health, and conquered the symptoms that had affected me for over three years.
Idiopathic Craniofacial Erythema, commonly known as chronic blushing, presented more unique social and emotional challenges characterized by uncontrollable facial flushing triggered by a variety of factors. Acceptance and holistic strategies like mindfulness and lifestyle adjustments gradually reduced its impact, allowing me to thrive socially. Collectively, these experiences taught me resilience, empathy, and fuel my commitment as a naturopathic doctor to deliver quality care.
Now, as a practitioner, I blend my clinical expertise, personal experiences, and the latest research to craft tailored treatment plans for my patients. My goal is simple yet profound: to empower you to prioritize your well-being, decode your body's signals, and address the root causes of health issues using methods rooted in nature.
I'm excited to join you on your wellness journey, supporting you every step of the way towards a healthier, happier life.
